As scheduled, the Village submitted pre-final engineering plans to IDOT for the scheduled streetscape improvements, a component of the Villages upcoming Downtown Revitalization Project. Installation of these improvements is scheduled for late-summer/early-fall 2019, coinciding with significant improvements to the train station and the Prospect Avenue railroad crossing.
