The Village of Clarendon Hills is proposing to improve Prospect Avenue and adjacent streets within downtown Clarendon Hills to enhance pedestrian safety and improve traffic mobility throughout the downtown area. The project will consist of shortening crossing widths by incorporating bump-outs, new crosswalk striping, adding drop off locations, a new lane configuration along Prospect Avenue and reconfiguring the Golf Avenue/Burlington Avenue into a T-intersection. A Project Development Report has been prepared for this project.
Public comments on the proposed improvement will be received by the Village of Clarendon Hills. Comments may be mailed or submitted directly to Dan Ungerleider, Director of Community Development, 1 North Prospect Avenue, Clarendon Hills, IL 60514, telephone 630-286-5412. Comments must be received by July 1, 2016.
Maps, drawings, the Project Development Report and other information are available for viewing and inspection by the general public at the Village Hall at the above address. If additional information is desired, contact the Director of Community Development.
